What's included?

This is a quick 15 minute chat to discuss your balloon decor project. We'll talk through your ideas and budget before putting together a quote and a mock up if you'd like one!

  • Which areas do you rent the Bubble House in?
    We service the whole of Cape Town and surrounding areas!
  • How do I book a rental?
    To request a booking, simply follow the links and go through to our booking calendar where you can select your date and time. Prices quoted exclude delivery. Once your booking is approved, we will agree your delivery fee and then send you a payment link to pay with a credit or debit card. Simple!
  • How do I pay?
    Once your booking is approved and your delivery fee agreed, we will send you a payment link to pay with a credit or debit card. Our payments are processed using Yoco.
  • Can I book for less or more than 3 hours at a time?
    3 hours is usually the perfect time for a Bubble House experience. If you'd like to book more time, the cost is R400 per hour. If you'd like to book 1 or 2 hours rental, we are happy to discuss this and reduce the price on an ad-hoc basis, so don't hesitate to reach out via live chat.
  • How much is delivery?
    Your Bubble House delivery fee will be calculated based on your distance from our base in Hout Bay, Cape Town. As a guide, we charge R500 to deliver from Hout Bay to the CBD area of Cape Town. After you submit a booking request (which will include your event address), we will be in touch to let you know how much delivery will be. Once you agree to the delivery fee, we will send you a payment link to pay for your booking using a credit or debit card.
  • Can I rent without an attendant?
    Unfortunately not. All of our rentals come with a Balloom attendant. This is both for our guest's safety and for the safety of our Bubble Houses! To ensure the Bubble House stays inflated, our attendant is there to allow entry and exit from the dome. This may sound simple but it requires attention and we can assure you (parents) that you do not want the responsibility whilst trying to enjoy your event!
  • Where can I set up the Bubble House?
    Our Bubble Houses require a clean, flat surface and must be within 30 metres of a power source. Grass, turf or concrete is ideal and we will not set up on rocks or gravel. If your event is in the Cape Town summer, temperatures can get extremely hot which can make the Bubble House unsafe. If your event is in the Summer and outdoors the area must be shaded. We can also set up indoors if the space is big enough. See below for our Bubble House sizes.
  • How big is the Bubble House?
    Our 3 metre Bubble Houses is 5 metres in length, 3 metres high, and 3 metres wide. Our 4 metre Bubble House is 6 metres in length, 4 metres high, and 4 metres wide.
  • Bubble House Rules
    4-5 people allowed inside in our 3m Bubble House 6-8 people allowed inside in our 4m Bubble House Shoes off! No eating or drinking Strictly no face paint, silly string, confetti or glitter No pets (obviously!) No sharp objects No jumping on the walls of the Bubble House
  • Is the Bubble House only for kids?
    Absolutely not! Adults can have lots of fun in the Bubble House too. Our 4 metre Bubble House is the best choice for adults as it allows for easier entrance into the dome and more space inside!
  • What happens if there's loadshedding?
    It is your responsibility to let us know if your event is interrupted by load shedding. If required, we can help source a generator but this will come at an additional cost.
  • What happens if we damage the Bubble House?
    Our Bubble Houses are fully insured against damages. Our attendant is also there to make sure your guests stick to the rules!
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    If you decide to cancel, 50% of your payment is non refundable. A 100% cancellation fee is taken if the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the start of your event.
  • What is your bad weather policy?
    We do not set up in rain, thunderstorms, or excessive winds. If we need to cancel in advance of your event due to bad conditions, 100% of your payment will be refunded. If you decide to cancel due to conditions that we deem fit to set up the Bubble House, 50% of your payment will be held and you may reschedule for a future date.
